Evan Hume is an artist examining photography as an instrument of the military-industrial complex for reconnaissance, surveillance, and documentation of advanced technology. He has exhibited widely and his work has been featured by publications such as Aperture, Der Greif, Financial Times, and Fisheye. Hume’s first photo book Viewing Distance was published in 2021 and his next monograph Critical Collection will be released in fall 2025.
